FORT WORTH, TX – RPAC, the political arm of the National Association of REALTORS announced its endorsement of Kay Granger for United States Congress, following a unanimous recommendation from TREPAC, the Texas Association of REALTORS Political Action Committee.
TREPAC Chairman Tony Lloyd cited Congresswoman Granger’s dedication to homeownership issues and private property rights during her tenure in Congress as the primary reason for the support.
“Congresswoman Granger has demonstrated a commitment to working with Texas REALTORS to strengthen communities, foster business development, and create economic opportunity for Texans. We appreciate her service to Texas and look forward to continue to work together to advance pro-business policy,” stated Lloyd.
The National Association of REALTORS was founded in 1908 and is America’s largest trade association with approximately 1.4 million members including NAR’s five commercial real estate institutes and its societies and councils. REALTORS are involved in all aspects of the residential and commercial real estate industries and belong to one of more of some 1,400 local associations or boards, and 54 state and territory associations of REALTORS.
“The National Association of REALTORS plays a critical role in growing the local economy and helping families realize the American dream of home ownership,” said Granger. “They are one of the biggest and most influential grassroots organizations in America, and I am honored to have the unanimous support of their local board. Once re-elected, I will continue to stand strong with the REALTORS to help grow our local economy and create greater opportunities for the families of this district.”
